I hate moving! I'm sure you're looking into being happily ensconced in your new home. But yay for Dressmaker's book. I'm so glad that you feel happy with it. That's half the battle, isn't it? Feeling proud of what you put out there. xoxoxo good luck!

Well Julia…thanks to you I have discovered that I do enjoy historical mystery after reading Traitor in Whitehall and I am totally looking forward to the second book in the series! You have proven that you can teach an old dog new tricks…here I am commenting on your Substack newsletter! I really really can’t wait for your next historical fiction..February feels like an eternity to wait but I guess I’ll survive! I’ve been living the WW II author round table discussion…literally all of my favorite authors in one place! Looking forward to reading the next segments! Finally I just want to let you know that my in person library book club is going to be reading The Last Dance of the Debutante in July..can’t wait!

Good luck with your move! Wishing you all the best!💜❤️📖📕📚❤️💜

I do so enjoy your books Julia!! I find reading about World War II and the people who lived through this time so very interesting!! I just became a subscriber and also enjoy your updates on food, books and knitting! Maybe I will finally try to knit! My question is would you be interested to add comments for traveling in London? My daughter and I are traveling to London next year and I would love insight on your favorite spots!! The best are the eating places, tearooms, and museums/exhibits not normally mentioned!! Thanks Carol

That’s a great idea! Let me have a think and see if I can pull some London recommendations together!
