The History Quill Podcast Is Back!
The first episode of season two is out now, and it's a good one.
Just a quick one today because I am on deadline and trying to keep things focused on editing The Dressmaker Book.1 (This will become a theme in the coming days, I’m sure.)
The History Quill Podcast is back for its second season! Every show my co-host Theodore Brun and I interview a historical fiction author about their craft and career with the aim to shed some light on this weird, wonderful genre we both write. Although the show is aimed at aspiring historical writers, there is something here for everyone including great behind-the-scenes looks for readers.
We kick off season two with best-selling author Giles Kristian. He is the author of Lancelot, Camelot, and the Raven and Sigurd trilogies, as well as having a colorful previous life as one part of a British pop group.
Speaking to Giles was a real joy, and the resulting episode is one of my favorites that Theo and I have recorded to date. You can watch the episode on YouTube, or listen on Apple Podcasts or Spotify.
