Note: Unfortunately, due to technical difficulties I won’t be conducting a live reading from Betrayal at Blackthorn Park on Wednesday, October 2nd. As soon as things get sorted out, I’ll go ahead with the reading as planned. I’ll keep you updated!
We are just days away from the release of Betrayal at Blackthorn Park, my second Evelyne Redfern mystery, and I’m thrilled to finally get this book into readers’ hands!
I’m really proud of all of the hard work that went into this book, and I can’t wait to share it with you. Unfortunately, I can’t be everywhere all at once—or can I…?
I’ve decided to try out a new feature on Substack (the platform where I publish this newsletter). Substack now has a live video feature, so I’m going to try it out and do a live reading from Betrayal at Blackthorn Park on Wednesday, October 2 at 2 p.m. ET. (That’s 7 p.m. BST for those of you in the UK like me.)
Here’s what you have to do to make sure you don’t miss the video:
Download the Substack app to your phone or tablet by clicking the button below.
Make sure you enable notifications. Here are the instructions for Apple devices, and here are the ones for Android.1 Make sure that “Live Videos” is turned on to be notified when the video is up and running.
When I go live, you’ll get a notification and can watch along! Substack says that live video can be used for Q&A sessions, so hopefully we can chat a bit too. If you want to be doubly sure I see your question ahead of time, you can leave a comment on this post and I’ll keep it in my back pocket for the live video.
If you can’t make it at Wednesday, October 2 at 2 p.m. ET, don’t worry. The video will be archived so I will be able to send it out at a future date.
